TEACHER GRANTS
DVHS PTSA Teachers Grants Committee is happy to launch the 2026 Teacher’s Grants application. Please click on this link to access the form.
Grant can be used for projects and materials, including, but not limited to, software, equipment, art supplies, audiovisual equipment, field trips, lab materials, etc

WHAT ARE TEACHER GRANTS?
Each year, DVHS PTSA disburses approximately $6000 among 8-10 selected awardees.
This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers and staff to bring their innovative ideas to life and significantly impact our students' educational experience. Every year we look forward to reviewing and awarding all thoughtful proposals. Grant can be used for projects and materials, including, but not limited to, software, equipment, art supplies, audiovisual equipment, field trips, lab materials, etc
Grant requests
- Grant requests may be of any dollar amount.
- The committee does consider awarding the full amount or partial amount.
All full-time teachers and staff members at DVHS are eligible to apply.
- PTSA Membership is required.
- Late applications after the due date will not be entertained.
We look for proposals that:
- Promote student engagement and achievement
- Incorporate innovative teaching methods or technologies
- Address specific needs within our school community
- Align with our school/district educational goals
Decision-making Process
- The 2026 evaluations committee will meet on Oct 15 and 29 to deliberate on the proposals.
- The awards will be formally announced at our Association meeting on November 17, 2026 (7-9pm in the Commons).
- Awardees will be informed beforehand, so they can be present during the relevant part of the meeting.
