WHAT IS DVHS MUSIC FUND?

WHAT IS DVHS MUSIC FUND?

How do we spend the money you so generously donate?

Below are charts showing the last two school years. Last year, during remote learning, we were presented with some challenges – less income, but less expenses too. Our major expense last year was video production so that we could “watch” the students perform. Well worth the money!

The year before, when we were in school, our major expenses were new instruments for the department and transportation (getting the students, via bus, to various events).

The district pays for our teacher’s salaries and then gives them $50 for each class they teach – three periods = $150. Five periods - $250. You can really appreciate how important your donations are to the music department.
